JBoss EAP 7 – Is Migration Right for your Organisation?

This one-day event, hosted by c2b2 Principal Consultant and JBoss specialist, Brian Randell, offers Red Hat customers a real-world view of how to plan and implement a successful EAP 7 migration or upgrade - and features an EAP 7 roadmap presentation by Red Hat's Mustafa Musaji.

Join us in Manchester on May 10th

With JBoss EAP 7 having been on the market since May 2016, and maintenance support for EAP 5 now ended, more and more JBoss customers will be making the move to JBoss EAP 7 in 2017.

Whether your organisation is evaluating a JBoss upgrade, or planning a significant migration from another platform, understanding that implementation in the context of your business operations is not only key to presenting a clear business case for migration, but also vital to delivering a successful migration roadmap.

This one-day JBoss EAP event comprises both business and technical streams, and focuses on the operational impact of EAP 7 implementation in terms of business transformation and operational continuity. It will present real-world evaluation of product features and infrastructure implications, and explore migration planning and implementation best-practice.

We’ll also be featuring an EAP roadmap presentation from Red Hat, with a chance to speak with and ask questions about future developments and functionality.

Who is this for?

Rather than being an JBoss EAP product presentation, the event is intended to offer a genuine opportunity for JBoss customers and users to learn how best to deliver a successful migration – and how to realise the full potential of EAP 7 in their business.

The morning sessions will focus on business and strategy, with content designed for anyone who is involved in planning or implementing JBoss infrastructure migration, from senior technical team members to operational management.

In the afternoon, we’ll stay with EAP 7 and its component technologies, and deliver three technical demonstrations that will be of use to anyone who is going to be overseeing or implementing the migration project. This will be ideal for administrators, developers and JBoss users looking for best-practice advice.
